John Pryor

John Pryor originally trained as a chef and hotelier. He gained experience in first class hotels and restaurants in both UK and France. John fulfilled an ambition of owning a Country House Hotel and Restaurant, which he ran successfully for seven years in Norfolk. Using his experience of food and wine he opened the now well known delicatessen Picnic Fayre. His idea of selling Picnic Fayre products world-wide first started with selling cake mixes to Japan and then the range expanded to include spice pastes and other mixes. John's attention to detail has enabled him to expand the business and gain the reputation that Picnic Fayre has today.

Steven Wheeler

Steven Wheeler is a respected food writer and chef. He trained in London at the Connaught and Dorchester hotels under Michel Bourdin and Anton Mosimann. Steven later went on to Switzerland to refine his knowledge of patisserie. Steven now contributes to the national food pages and has ten cookery books to his name. He has a passion for flavour, and a mission to get us cooking. To this end Steven has created a range of products that bring style and confidence to home cooking.
